§ Ms. ArmstrongTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Services how many physiotherapists are currently employed by the National Health Service; and how many of these are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
§ Mrs. CurrieAt 30 September 1986, 11,260 physiotherapists were employed either full or part-time in the NHS in England. Information about membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists is not collected centrally by the Department and I would suggest that the hon. Member contact the society direct.
