To ask the Attorney-General what representations he has received concerning the decision of the Tunbridge Wells borough council not to issue summonses for alleged Sunday trading offences pending the outcome of the deliberations of the European Court on two cases referred to the court; and what action he proposes to take to secure the enforcement of the law on this subject.

My right hon. and learned Friend the Attorney-General has received no representations concerning the present policy of the Tunbridge Wells borough council regarding the enforcement of the law on Sunday trading.
