To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment when he last met representatives of the Housebuilders Federation to discuss development in the south-east.

I last met representatives of the Housebuilders Federation on 12 October 1987 to discuss regional housing issues in the south-east. There have been subsequent meetings between officials.
