§ Mr. Barry FieldTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will set out the proposed dates for the implementation of the various sections of the Licensing Act 1988.
§ Mr. Douglas HoggIt is intended that the commencement date for sections 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 16, 17 and 18 of the Licensing Act 1988 will be 1 August; that the remaining sections will be in force on or before 1 September, with the exception of sections 12 and 15, which are likely to be implemented on 1 March 1989.
