§ Mr. Nicholas Bennett
To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how much in 1988 prices has been spent on capital investment in the National Health Service in Wales since April 1979.

§ Mr. Grist
It is estimated that the net capital expenditure on the National Health Service in Wales between April 1979 and March 1988 will have been £497.6 million at 1987–88 prices.

§ Mr. Raffan
To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will give the expenditure on the National Health Service in Wales(a) in 1978–79 and (b) projected for 1988–89;
