To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what consultations have taken place between his Department and British Nuclear Fuels plc concerning the transport of plutonium by aircraft; and what were the results.

There is no need for consultations between this Department and British Nuclear Fuels on this issue until it submits a package design for competent authority approval.
