§ Mr. NewtonThere is no formal guidance issued to the Advisory Committee on Distinction Awards, the committee which recommends the allocation of awards to consultants. The ACDA receives advice from local awards committees and issues guidance to it each year outlining their duties. A copy of the ACDA's current guidance has been placed in the Library.
§ Mr. Frank FieldTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list by name each consultant in(a) Liverpool district health authority and (b) Wirral district health authority who has been given a merit award; and if he will state when each award was made of what grade and what value, the specialisation of each person who has an award and amount of time each such person is contracted to work for the National Health Service.
