To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what has been the import in tonnes of acrylic yarn from Turkey in each of the last three years.

United Kingdom imports of acrylic yarns from Turkey were: 1984—44.7 metric tonnes; 1985 — 611.0 metric tonnes; and 1986 (provisional)—3,227.4 metric tones.
