To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if he will meet the chairman of the Post Office, to raise the subject of increasing complaints about the deterioration in the Post Office's delivery service.

My right hon. Friend has discussed the quality of the Post Office's service regularly at his meetings with the chairman. We agree with the chairman that the service needs to be improved and are in no doubt about his commitment to improve it.
