To ask the Secretary of State for Energy whether any nuclear material of any kind has been transported to the Drigg or Sellafield sites from the Mol site in Belgium; and if he will make a statement.

I am informed that irradiated fuel from a joint United Kingdom/Belgium irradiation test programe in the BR3 reactor at Mol was returned to Sellafield on completion of the programme. The last receipts were in 1984–85.
