§ Mr. Lee[holding answer 22 February 1988]: Form CF(N)982A is a questionnaire issued by unemployment benefit offices to claimants who do not qualify for unemployment benefit on their United Kingdom contribution record but who have been employed abroad in an EC country or a country with which the United Kingdom has a reciprocal agreement.
Completed questionnaires enable inquiries to be made to establish whether any contributions paid abroad may assist claimants to qualify for unemployment benefit. Completed forms are forwarded to the overseas branch of the DHSS.
