§ Mr. RentonThe Independent Broadcasting Authority has the statutory responsibility for ensuring that the programmes it broadcasts maintain a high general standard in all respects and in particular in respect of their content and quality. I am sure the authority will have taken due note of the lessons of this unfortunate incident, for which Channel 4 has already apologised publicly.
