To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he has plans to seek to amend the law on charitable trusts.

The Government have already announced their intention to propose legislation to strengthen the powers of the Charity Commission and improve the supervision and monitoring of charities. We are considering the scope of this legislation.
