§ Mr. Michael Morris
To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will list in theOfficial Report the number of (a) women and (b) men students in all medical schools accepted for pre-clinical study in 1958, 1968, 1978 and 1988.

Mr. Jackson
The intake of pre-clinical medical students to United Kingdom medical schools is shown in the following table. 1960 is the first year for which information was collected.
