(2) what is the cost to his Department of the benefit fraud investigators who are operating in the Seaham and Peterlee offices; and if he will make a statement on their cost-effectiveness.
§ Mr. LeeTwo members of staff of my Department are engaged in fraud investigation work in offices covering the Seaham and Peterlee areas. Both are of executive officer grade and receive the appropriate salaries and allowances. I am quite satisfied that both officers operate cost-effectively.
