§ Mr. Hinchliffe
To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will take urgent steps to announce the capital allocation to the West Yorkshire waste management joint committee for 1988–89; if he will publish details of the reasons for the delay in this announcement; and if he will make a statement.

§ Mrs. Roe
The capital allocations for waste regulation and disposal will, as in previous years, be announced before the end of February.
