To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services upon what date a copy of the new National Health Service performance indicators for 1986–87 will be placed in the Library.

I refer my hon. Friend to my reply to him on 17 December 1987, at column709. The national set of performance indicators for 1986–87 will now be completed by the end of February 1988 ready for issue to all health authorities in England in March 1988; they will be placed in the Library at the same time.
