§ Mr. NewtonRelevance to general practice will be a key feature of courses qualifying for the new postgraduate educational allowance announced in the White Paper "Promoting Better Health". No decisions have been made about this new allowance. The detail will be discussed with the family doctors' representatives, the General Medical Services Committee during the coming year. The views of the Royal College of General Practitioners will be an essential part of our consideration of this issue.
