Mr. Galbraith

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) if he will give the total cash allocation to each Scottish health board for each year from 1978–79, including projected allocations for the years 1988–89 and 1989–90;

(2) if he will give the total cash allocation to Scottish health boards for each year from 1978–79, including projected allocations for the years 1988–89 and 1989–90.

[holding answer, 26 January 1988]: Health boards' final allocations for recurrent expenditure on hospital and community health services, for the years 1978–79 to 1987–88 inclusive, are shown in the table. The allocations for 1989–90 will not be determined until the early part of 1989 once the relevant population and other data are available.
