§ Mr. CryerTo ask the Secretary of State for Energy if he will(a) list all occasions since 1 January 1973 that 226W notifications of planned nuclear exports have been made to the European Commission under the European treaty article 103 and (b) place copies of such notifications in the Library.
§ Mr. Michael SpicerThe hon. Member may have in mind commercial contracts for the export of nuclear materials. I am advised that these contracts do not fall within the scope of article 103 of the Euratom treaty. Particulars of individual consignments and destinations are of course commercially confidential to the parties involved.
