To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what discussions he has had with the Country Landowners Association about his Department's handling of the Chernobyl accident in the United Kingdom.

Chernobyl was one of a number of topics discussed when I met representatives of the Country Landowners Association on 28 September 1987. My officials have, of course, been in frequent contact with the associaton on action taken following the Chernobyl accident.
