To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science what information he has as to how many(a) universities, (b) polytechnics and (c) colleges of further education have integral child care provision; what is the number of available places in each; and if he will make a statement.

To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science what advice he has given to(a) the Universities Funding Council and (b) the Polytechnics Funding Council with regard to child care provision within the institutions for which they have responsibility.
