§ Mr. RedmondTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) what grants were authorised to be paid by his Department for capital works carried out under the Civil Defence (Water Supplies) Regulations 1949 in each of the financial years 1985–86 to 1987–88 inclusive; to which authorities they were paid; and for what purposes;
(2) what grants were authorised to be paid by his Department for capital works carried out under the Civil Defence (Sewerage) Regulations 1949 in each of the financial years 1985–86 to 1987–8, inclusive; to which authorities they were paid; and for what purposes.
