To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development countries have achieved a balanced budget or a budget surplus in the current year.

Mr. Lilley

As well as the United Kingdom, Australia, Denmark, Norway and Sweden are expected to achieve approximately balanced budgets in the current year.
