To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer when he next proposes to have discussions with the European Community Council of Ministers about European monetary matters.

The next meeting of the European Community's Council of Economic and Finance Ministers is expected to be held on 18 April. The agenda is expected to include the liberalisation of capital movements.
