§ Mr. LuceThe allocation of grants to the English area museum councils is a matter for the Museums and Galleries Commission. I understand that the commission's grant to the East Midlands area museum service was increased by 11.7 per cent. in 1986–87 and by a further 4.5 per cent. in 1987–88.
