§ Mr. Mealeasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will make a statement on the progress of the negotiations between British Coal and the Consortium of Housing Associations led by CIPFA services, over the sale of British Coal houses in Nottinghamshire; and what information he has as to whether British Coal is prepared to accept an offer made by the Consortium which does not meet the market value put on the properties by British Coal.
