§ Mr. Douglas HoggThe available information indicates that there are no restrictions on the hours during which alcohol may be sold in France, Belgium, Portugal and Italy, and few restrictions in Spain. Licensing hours in the Federal Republic of Germany vary by area but are generally from 6 am to 1 am; in the Netherlands they are from 5 am to 1 am; and in Denmark from 5 am to midnight, with extensions available to restaurants.
