HC Deb 05 November 1987 vol 121 cc794-5W
Q73. Dr. Godman

asked the Prime Minister if she is satisfied with the co-ordination between the Scottish Office and the Department of Trade and Industry about the creation of an enterprise zone in Inverclyde.

The Prime Minister

The case for an enterprise zone in Inverclyde remains under consideration, but, as my right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland has already indicated, after consultation with my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment, the Minister primarily responsible, no decision can be taken until the findings on the current evaluation of the enterprise zone experiment have been fully considered.
