§ Mr. Alfred Morrisasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list the total annual expenditure by social services departments in England on people with physical and sensory disabilities in each of the last 10 years at 1986–87 prices.
§ Mr. Newton[pursuant to his reply, 8 May 1987, c. 572]: I regret that information collected centrally does not enable a comprehensive figure for total personal social services expenditure on people with physical and sensory disabilities to be provided, because many of the relevant services, such as home helps and other support services, are provided to all disabled people and to the elderly, many of whom have physical and sensory disabilities.
