§ Mrs. Currie[pursuant to her reply, 11 May 1987, c. 126]: As my hon. Friend is aware, the management of major new schemes in the National Health Service building programme is the responsibility of the regional 438W health authority. I understand, however, that the Telford district general hospital is planned to open early in 1989. The accident and emergency department will open in full at that time.
