§ Mr. Irvingasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will publish details of the research on remand hearings to which the Minister of State, the hon. and learned Member for Putney (Mr. Mellor), referred on 31 March, Official Report, column 916, including information as to the nature and size of the sample and the 312W number of occasions at each successive court appearance at which (a) successful and unsuccessful bail applications were made and (b) other progress with the case was made.
