§ The Solicitor-General for ScotlandProviding assistance to claimants in relation to criminal legal aid is, in general, not part of the procurator fiscal's function; however, documents issued to accused persons to draw attention to the possibility of legal aid are presently being revised to stress the importance of seeking advice on the matter without delay.
