§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonThe British Standards Institution is currently reviewing all road lighting standards. A working party of the Institution is preparing a code of practice concerned with lighting for urban centres and other public amenity areas. I understand that aspects of security and safety are being taken into account in drafting the code.
