§ Mr. Fatchettasked the Attorney-General if he will make a statement on the progress the Lord Chancellor's Department is making with the housing aspects of its review of civil justice; what timetable it is working to with regard to further action; and if he will make a statement.
§ The Attorney-GeneralGood progress is being made on every aspect of the review and it is hoped that recommendations on all the matters it has covered will be available to my noble and learned Friend early in 1988.
§ Mr. Fatchettasked the Attorney-General if he will list the organisations which submitted responses to the Lord Chancellor's Department's civil justice review's housing 509W cases consultation paper; if he will place copies of these submissions in the Library; and if he will make available the summary of these submissions prepared for the civil justice review's advisory committee.
§ The Attorney-GeneralOnce the review is completed, for which the target is early 1988, my noble and learned Friend will consider how much information about the responses should be made available; there have so far been some 700 responses to the six consultation papers, and some have been offered on the understanding that they would not be published.
