§ Mr. Tony Banksasked the Secretary of State for the Environment, pursuant to his reply of 7 July, Official Report, column 140, to the hon. Member for Brent, South (Mr. Boateng) if section 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 applies to assured tenancies when the tenancy is renewed.
§ Mrs. RoeNo. But we propose to extend section 11 so as to apply to assured tenancies not only when first granted but also on renewal.
