HC Deb 24 July 1987 vol 120 cc630-1W
Mr. Canavan

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what recent discussions he has had with representatives of the Government of the Republic of Ireland about the Anglo-Irish Agreement.

Mr. Tom King

I last met Irish Ministers at a meeting of the Intergovernmental Conference on 16 July. As is set out in the joint statement issued after the meeting, a copy of which is in the Library, we discussed a range of matters within the field of activity of the conference, including security and economic co-operation and equality of opportunity in employment.
