HC Deb 20 July 1987 vol 120 c85W
Mr. John Marshall

asked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what representations the Government have made to the Russian postal authorities about their frequent violations of international postal conventions.

Mr. Butcher

The Post Office and my officials take every opportunity to express concern to Soviet postal authorities in international postal fora about the non-delivery of mail addressed to Soviet citizens, and the Post Office continues to pursue with them all individual cases brought to its attention.
