§ Mr. Mark RobinsonThe statutory provisions and other consultation arrangements under which the Welsh water authority, the local planning authorities and developers negotiate planning consents provide a satisfactory framework for the general avoidance of damage to existing water supply and sewerage facilities. I am advised that generally the Welsh water authority has no difficulty in recovering the cost of repairing any damage caused by developers.
