§ Mr. John MacKayThe estimated figures quoted in "Forestry Facts and Figures 1985–86" have been substantially revised, following a major survey of employment in forestry and the wood-processing industries undertaken by the Forestry Commission in conjunction with the private sector. This is the first comprehensive survey of this nature to be carried out for a number of years.
