§ 32. Mr. Parryasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what representations he has received from the Merseyside police authority concerning police expenditure and the Merseyside police authority for the precept for 1987–88.
§ Mr. Douglas HoggThe authority has written to my right hon. Friend about the adequacy of the maximum precept for 1987–88 which would be derived from the formula provided in the Local Government Finance Bill. A delegation from the authority is coming to discuss this matter with me on 10 February.
