§ Mr. Wainwrightasked the Paymaster General how many formerly unemployed persons have been placed with employers under the job training scheme pilot project in Huddersfield; and how many of these were still employed under the scheme at the most recent convenient date.
§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeAll participants in the job training scheme pilots were previously unemployed for six months or more. On 30 January, the latest date for which information is available, practical training on employers' premises have been received by 63 participants on the Huddersfield pilot. Of these only one has left the scheme so far.
