Mr. Cummings

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) how many general practitioners were practising within the Easington constituency in the years 1982–83, 1983–84 and 1985–86;

(2) how many dentists were in practice in the Easington constituency over the years 1982–83, 1983–84, 1984–85 and 1985–86.

I regret that records are not collected centrally on a constituency basis. I would refer the hon. Member to Durham family practitioner committee, which may be able to provide the information he seeks.
