To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services what is the average length of time taken in each of the last three years by his Department to process applications under article 3 of the Medicines Exemption from Licences (Manufacture and Assembly Temporary Provisions) Order 1972; and if he will make a statement.

No such applications under that order have been received in each of the last three years by the Department.
