§ Mr. Andrew F. BennettTo ask the Secretary of State for Transport when he expects the bridge over the M66 in Denton to be completed so that Windmill lane, Denton, can be reopened; for when it was originally promised; and if he will publish the reasons for the delay.
§ Mr. Peter BottomleyThe remaining work at the bridge should be completed early in the new year. We had hoped that Windmill lane would reopen in October but unforeseen ground conditions led to delays in diverting statutory undertakers' apparatus.
