§ Mr. AltonTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list and name the number of doctors who performed abortions at 18 weeks and after in licensed clinics and nursing homes in 1986 according to the following bands, performed(a) one to five abortions, (b) five to 50 abortions, (c) 50 to 100 abortions and (d) over 100 abortions.

§ Mr. Nicholas BennettTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list, by each district health authority, the cost of abortions in money and as a percentage of all Health Service expenditure, in the latest year for which figures are available.
§ Mr. NewtonThe accounts submitted by the health authorities to the Department do not show separately the amount spent on abortion and I regret therefore that I am unable to provide the information requested.
