§ Mr. Portillo[holding answer 12 November 1987]: The most recent available information indicates that about 2 per cent. of supplementary benefit claimants with partners are women and that a similar percentage of married women claimants to benefits under the Social Security Act 1975 are receiving a dependency addition.
