§ Mrs. Clare Shortasked the Paymaster General if he will publish (a) a table showing estimates of the number of part-time employees in the west midlands region and county including number of part-time women workers and part-time male workers, at April 1986 and (b) a table showing estimates of the number and proportion of male part-time workers and female part-time workers, in the west midlands region and county earning less the £3.20 and £3.40 per hour at April 1986.
§ Mr. Lee(a) The available information, from the Census of Employment, relates to September 1984 and is as follows:

More recent estimates of part-time females in employment in the west midlands region are published in table 1.5 of Employment Gazette, copies of which are available in the Library.
