§ Mr. David HuntWe have had considerable success in attracting external contributions to our renewables programme. Since 1979 over £14 million has been contributed. Estimate contributions for 1986–87 are £3 million compared to £2.1 million in 1985–86. (The figures include contractors' contribution to projects on waste as a fuel and passive solar design under the Departments energy efficiency demonstration scheme).
