HC Deb 12 May 1986 vol 97 c326W
Mr. Terlezki

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what are the most recent figures available for the balance of imports and exports to and from the Soviet Union; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Alan Clark

The most recent figures available are the provisional figures for March 1986, which show a crude United Kingdom trade surplus of £5.3 million. This compares with a crude surplus of £34.2 million for the first quarter of 1986.
